How to Become an XML Grand Master

This contest just keeps getting better. While you’re participating in the five exciting contests, you’ll also be amassing the experience to qualify as an XML Grand Master and a drawing for a Bose Wave Radio II. You’ll be competing against colleagues in the contests, but you’re the only person who can get in your own way of becoming an XML Grand Master.

There are six badges you need to collect in your journey to XML Grand Master status:

XML Challenger	XML Rookie	XML Whiz	XML Star	XML Expert	XML Grand Master

They get tougher to obtain as you collect them, but anyone dedicated to The XML Challenge can eventually become an XML Grand Master and enter the drawing for a Bose Wave Radio II.

As you proceed through the XML Challenge, we’ll keep track of the tasks you’ve accomplished. You can watch your progress on your profile page.

These are the tasks:

• Registration
• Vote, post a comment, refer a friend
• Take the Quick Quiz
• Enter the Video or Gadget Contest
• Take the Query Contest
• Enter the Ported App or XML Contest

As you can see, you don’t have to enter every contest to become an XML Grand Master. However, you’ll only be limiting your opportunities to win if you don’t enter. If you’re going to accept the challenge, then we highly recommend you take it head on and enter every contest!
